1. What This Platform Is

RaccoonList, operated by RACCOONLIST LLC, is a user-opinion platform. Everything posted on this Platform is user-generated opinion — not verified fact, not a consumer report, and not a statement made or endorsed by RaccoonList. Raccoon profiles are user-created threads keyed by a submitted name and optional city. They are not verified identities, confirmed real-person records, or factual records of any kind.

You are welcome to express opinions, share experiences, and comment in Raccoon threads. You are not permitted to present your opinion as verified fact, claim that content on the Platform has been confirmed or endorsed by the Platform, or use the Platform to conduct targeted harm against individuals.

These Community Standards apply to all users. Violation may result in content removal, account restriction, or permanent termination, and in serious cases may be referred to law enforcement or pursued through civil legal action.

2. Opinions vs. Facts

The Platform is a forum for opinion, not fact. When you post content, you are sharing your personal view, experience, or perspective. The Platform does not verify, confirm, investigate, or endorse any content posted by users.

You must not present opinion as objective fact, fabricate events or actions and present them as real, falsely state that content on the Platform has been "verified" or "confirmed," or use the Platform to generate content that could reasonably be mistaken for a factual record or official source.

Posts that state "I believe," "in my opinion," or "my experience was" are appropriate. Posts that assert as established fact something that is not publicly verifiable and provably true — particularly when designed to harm an identifiable person — are not appropriate.

3. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are prohibited and will be subject to removal and account action. This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to remove any content and take any account action we deem appropriate.

Threats and Incitement. Content that constitutes a threat of violence, physical harm, property destruction, or other illegal action directed at any individual or group. Content that calls on others to commit violence or engage in harassment campaigns against any person.

Doxxing and Privacy Violations. Content that reveals or attempts to reveal private, personally identifying information about a real person without their consent. This includes home or work addresses, personal phone numbers, government-issued identification numbers, financial account information, medical information, immigration status, location data, private photographs, or any other information the subject has not voluntarily made public. Using the Platform to aggregate publicly available information with intent to facilitate targeted harm is also prohibited.

Harassment and Targeted Abuse. Content designed to intimidate, stalk, shame, humiliate, or cause sustained emotional distress to a specific individual. Creating multiple posts or profiles targeting a single individual in a coordinated pattern of abuse is prohibited regardless of the content of any individual post.

Impersonation and Identity Fraud. Creating a Raccoon profile with intent to impersonate a real, identifiable person in a manner designed to deceive others or cause harm to that person's reputation. Claiming to be another user, the Platform, or any other entity with intent to mislead.

Illegal Content. Content that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law, including content that constitutes defamation, obscenity, child sexual abuse material, or material that facilitates criminal activity.

Spam and Commercial Solicitation. Posting unsolicited commercial advertisements, promotional content, referral links, or repetitive content designed to flood the Platform. Creating accounts or Raccoon profiles for the purpose of commercial solicitation.

Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior. Using multiple accounts, coordinating with others, or employing any organized method to manipulate the Platform's content, reputation, or moderation systems. This includes mass-reporting campaigns targeting specific users without genuine basis and artificial amplification of content.

Scraping and Automation. Using bots, scripts, automated tools, web scrapers, crawlers, or any non-human means to access, collect, copy, or interact with the Platform without our express written permission.

Circumventing Moderation. Creating new accounts to evade a ban or suspension, re-posting content that has been removed for policy violations, or using any technical or social method to circumvent Platform moderation decisions.

4. Moderation Process

We review reported content and take action based on our assessment of whether it violates these Standards or our Terms of Use. We do not guarantee that all violating content will be identified or removed. We are not obligated to review content in any particular order or within any specific time frame.

We may take action on content that has not been reported if we become aware of a potential violation through any means. Moderation decisions consider the content in context, the history of the user who posted it, the history of any reporting user, and any other factors we determine are relevant.

5. Consequences of Violations

Violations of these Standards may result in one or more of the following actions, applied at our sole discretion:

Warning. A notice that content or conduct violates our Standards, with or without further immediate action.

Content Removal or Hiding. Specific content may be removed from public view or hidden pending review.

Account Restriction. Temporary or permanent limitation of your ability to post, access certain features, or interact with the Platform.

Account Termination. Permanent removal of your account and all associated content.

Legal Referral. For content involving credible threats, child exploitation, or other serious illegal activity, we may preserve and provide relevant information to law enforcement.

Civil Action. For conduct that causes substantial harm to the Platform, including fraudulent chargebacks, scraping, or coordinated attacks on the Platform's systems or reputation, we may pursue civil legal remedies.

6. Platform's Right to Act

We may take any content or account action at any time, without prior notice, and without obligation to explain our decision. We are not required to follow any particular procedure before acting or to provide any opportunity to cure a violation before acting. The fact that content has not been removed does not constitute approval, endorsement, or waiver of our right to remove it later.

No appeal is guaranteed. We may, at our discretion, consider appeals submitted through our contact process, but we are under no obligation to restore access, reverse a moderation decision, or provide any further explanation.

7. Reporting Content

If you believe content on the Platform violates these Standards or our Terms of Use, use the Platform's built-in reporting feature or contact us directly. Reports are reviewed in the order and manner we determine appropriate. Submitting a report does not guarantee any particular action or timeline.

You must not use the reporting system in bad faith, as a tool to target or silence users you disagree with, or to submit false or exaggerated claims. Abuse of the reporting system is itself a violation of these Standards and may result in account action.

8. No Duty to Preserve Content

We reserve the right to delete, hide, or alter any content on the Platform at any time. We are not responsible for preserving content for any purpose. Users who need records of content they have posted should maintain their own copies.
